Job Summary
The role of the Marketing Manager - Sydney is to be responsible for all marketing and promotional aspects of the business. Detailed Job Description
Create and implement a Marketing strategy for Little Zak’s Academys’ centres across NSW - this includes any recommendations - with a focus on innovation to continue to help the business be at the forefront of the Child Care industry.
Research, analyse and provide data to support the Marketing (short and long term) strategy and trends on an ongoing basis.
Forecast Marketing requirements (financial and strategic), schedule expenditures, analyse any variances and initiate any plans for corrective action.
Identify process and system improvements from a Marketing perspective ensuring that the teams can work smarter and be more efficient when promoting the Little Zak’s brand.
Liaise with vendors / suppliers (ie. graphic designers, printers, promotions etc) and be able to articulate the plan to paper / on line as well as have the experience to implement and agree to a pricing strategy with Marketing suppliers.
Define Marketing objectives and success measures by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising / merchandising and trade promotion programs.
Identify Marketing opportunities through consumer requirements, market share, competitors strengths / weaknesses and capitalising on this information through implementation of new programs.
Work in parallel with the Leadership team to ensure that the Marketing strategy is aligned with the business strategy and objectives.
Outbound Marketing activities for the Little Zak’s Academy centres across NSW including but not limited to;
  • Update and maintain the Little Zak’s Academy website, social media pages, community and family forums.
  • Promote the Little Zak’s Academy brand through various advertising methods.
  • Create and implement regular and up to date brochures for Little Zak’s Academy - customised for various events and objectives.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to promote the Little Zak’s Academy brand (Google searches etc).
  • Improve product marketability through various sources (ie. improving product packaging, coordinating new product development, expand on benefits for parents / children within promotional material etc).
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree or like qualification in Marketing and at least 5 years hands on Marketing experience.
Work Experience:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Marketing strategies and be able to execute on the plan.
- Child Care Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of Graphic Design packages is preferred but not essential.
Other Skills:
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking, time management and planning skills.
- A sense of urgency with all activities.
- Communicating with confidence and diplomacy.
