The family have horses that we use for competitions such as campdrafting and stockman challenges. On occasion they travel large distances to compete and the Au pair would have the opportunity to see different parts of Australia with this friendly family.
Mum is a Police Officer, currently working part time but may work full time soon. Dad works away 1 week and home 2 week.
Mum just needs a hand with the 2 young children, a girl 3 who attends some daycare and a lovely little baby boy aged 1.
We are looking for an Au Pair who has had experience caring for babies/toddlers as there will be some sole charge care involved, so you must be confident and capable with children. The family have horses & dogs - so lots of opportunity for horse riding!
Your accommodation will be separate from the main house in a large 12ft “Gooseneck” (lovely sort of Caravan) with double bed, fridge, air con, tv and shower. Plenty of storage space for personal belongings.
In addition to a great space and all meals, pocket money will be min $250 pw for part time hours (25 ) but may be up to $250-$400 for 35/40 hours. Mum works shifts so you will need to be flexible, however you will have plenty of free time to explore and the family will also take you on plenty of road trips to see horses compete.
The role also includes light housework, feeding children, helping with bath/dinner time, helping with laundry.
