Be responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of the SharePoint online environment under a project to deliver this capability to the Directorate.
Work under the direction of a Project Manager and in partnership with a technical business analyst to design, development and implement a supportable SharePoint online environment that leverages out of the box functionality that will meet the business requirements of Directorate staff. • Ensure business need is articulated and mapped to technical solutions using formal agreed technical design processes. Identify gaps and investigate alternative options where the technical solution is not able to meet core business needs. • Develop and present wireframes, proof of concepts and designs regularly to stakeholders to ensure the solution meets and aligns to expectations. • Understand project management principles and practices, to ensure project delivers planned outcomes. Notify Project Manager of any potential or realised risks & issues to finance or business. • Develop detailed solution design documentation and support documentation to allow for the solution to be transitioned at the conclusion of the project to ongoing business as usual support.

Work with other SMEs to provision related system configurations including firewall rules, load balancer configurations, storage and backup services. • Create written procedures and other technical documentation to underpin effective system support and implementation. • Deliver technical consulting and subject matter expertise to project teams to ensure risks, interdependencies and exceptions are identified, resolved, mitigated or escalated. • Reflect the Departments values in the way you work and abide by policies and procedures to ensure a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment. • Understand and improve business processes and procedures related to implementation and maintenance of Windows systems and related applications.
