Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, your role as Graduate Mining Engineer will see you working in various underground locations, be developed into a true underground mining professional who holds their shift boss ticket. You will be mentored and trained by some of the best! This role is a contract role, working an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.
The Requirements
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a focus on safety, who is open to challenging themselves and their capabilities. You will spend time working underground with the mining crews and within the Underground Engineering team, developing skills in shaft sinking, drill and blast etc.
You must be equally comfortable and capable of working well within a team or autonomously as required. Your objective is to understand the mining process and assist in safely and successfully executing the mine plan at the various sites you will be working at. Your location will change based on your training needs and operational requirements.
