We need a Sales and Service Engineer for capital equipment such as conventional and CNC machinery for a very well established national company. This is an excellent opportunity to join this successful business that supplies, installs and maintains a comprehensive range of CNC & conventional machines and Machine Tools.
Ideal for a trades person wanting to change career direction OR service engineer looking for a new position that includes sales OR a sales person that doesn't mind doing service work.
Based in Brisbane and working from home we need a person to do approx. 3 days sales and 2 days service work from Installation, Training and Breakdown work for CNC and Conventional machines.
Your role as a Sales engineer / Service Engineer will be to sell machines then get involved with the installation of CNC and Conventional machines plus advise / train clients on how to use the machines plus perform breakdown duties and general maintenance both electrical and mechanical.
This is a QLD based role, where you will be based at home and given a laptop, phone and all the tools needed plus have an assistant interstate to organise your day and appointments. At times you may be required to travel interstate and sometimes overseas for training.
The ideal person will have;
CNC operational skills Knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain CNC control systems A trade background Mechanical and diagnostic skills Read electrical drawings Excellent communication skills Ability to communicate at all levels Experience in servicing mechanical or electrical capital equipment or conventional and CNC machinery would be ideal.
