Reporting to the General Manager, some of the main areas of responsibility of this role are: Ensure regulatory compliance across the entire company operation; Manage allocation of resources for the smooth operation of scheduled flights; Manage operational teams and their working schedules with an efficiency-based approach Monitor and report flight movements, including the identification of deficiency trends and operational challenges Liaise with key active and prospective clients with the vision of maximising opportunities for business creation
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: Ideally Degree Qualified in Aviation Management; Business Management and/or similar areas Formal training in aircraft maintenance engineering is essential, as well as demonstrated experience in senior maintenance positions Experience in leading operational teams within an aircraft maintenance context Commercial acumen and the ability to implement business strategies Holder of a CASA Licence (B1), as well as sound knowledge of key regulatory systems in Australia Ability to pass a full security clearance Full working rights in Australia, and the ability to be based in Perth permanently
