Community Action has a permanent part-time position available for a Receptionist-Administration Assistant in Gympie (9am-4pm Monday to Friday).  This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced individual to join our dynamic team.
The purpose of this position is to undertake responsibilities to support the administrative infrastructure of the organisation.  This position requires a high level of professionalism and sensitivity to the needs of people accessing services and is essential to ensuring the service is perceived by clients as accessible, friendly and welcoming.
The role will provide reception support to three program areas:  Gympie Region Domestic and Family Violence Service, Financial Literacy and Resilience Program and Multicultural Information Network Service.  The person in this role is generally the first point of contact with the public.  As such it is essential that they are pleasant, courteous, highly professional and able to interact with a wide and diverse consumer group.
The role will provide administrative support to the Gympie Region Domestic and Family Violence Service.  An awareness and sensitivity to the needs of people accessing this service is essential as the person in this position is required to appropriately support clients who present with urgent issues.

POSITION SUMMARY
Manage a seamless and stable IT network across the college, including hardware and wireless. Provide leadership to the IT operations and assets of the College including the technical support framswek and management of support services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that all server infrastructure is operating efficiently Imaging, managing, distribution and maintenance of: 1 on 1 devices; ipads, Macbooks  resources in CAD and film laboratories using Apple iMacs; and  Administration using PC's
classroom IT resources including Apple TVs, projectors and screens Manage email, storage, database and LMS servers Deliver high quality IT support for the range of College products and services. Train and manage IT support staff Support teaching staff as necessary to deliver the critical IT functions of the school. Providing technological guidance for future IT purchases and implementation. Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. Comply with school procedures, policies and practices as amended from time to time. Identify sensible, effective, least risky, least complex solutions. Suggest open-minded approach to new ideas, practices and methods. Establishing and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders including parents, relevant community bodies and colleagues.  Maintaining resources, equipment and the physical environment to the highest standards and placing student safety as paramount in day to day operation Experience with various virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments Ability to lead and contribute to the development, maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation (OS, database services, virtual networks, or other platform services)  Ability to secure cloud applications and data against theft, loss, or other disasters Ability to work with third-party SaaS providers and third party development partners on integration

Demonstrated proficiency in IT and experience in all aspects of multimedia. A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and its configuration within the Apple and Windows domain. A good knowledge of commercial databases and server deployment across both platforms. Demonstrated ability to image, manage, maintain and repair 1:1 devices (MacBooks and iPads) Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively transact with a variety of staff and students. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (networking and systems administration) incuding demonstrated experience in leading a team. Demonstrated knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of administrative policies, practices and procedures used in schools
