A Local Council based in Melbourne’s South East requires a Project Manager to join their team on a full time contract basis to oversee a number of projects. This council have a multitude of projects ongoing at the moment and need assistance in delivering these.
Your new role You will be responsible for delivering projects from design through to construction and hand over. There are various projects including pavilions and community facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
prepare and assess tender documents engage with consultants monitor budgets oversee the construction phase monitor handover and liability period working independently and as part of a team liaise with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience within the building industry in Capital Works as a Project Manager with relevant qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or a related field preferable.
