Job tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for qualified painters who are fully experienced in all aspects of the painting trade. Must present well with good communication skills. You must be comfortable in a team or working alone.
You will be responsible for:
Supervision of work crews • Actively participate in running daily toolbox talks and pre-start • Commit to project completion goals • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives • Commitment towards facilitating a safe working environment • Mentor, train and performance manage your team • Initiate work tasks and prepare work fronts

Reporting directly to the group’s Project Director, and working mostly on sites, you will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities of HVAC systems installation projects are taken place in accordance with the specified requirements. This includes supervision of a team of external installation contractors, ensuring their quality of materials and workmanship, discussing any system design concerns with the Project Manager, resolving any site issues, enforcing OH&S practices, and coordinating with other trades on sites for the smooth delivery of the projects.
You will need to have a background in sheetmetal or HVAC fabrication trade, and a good track record of site supervision experience, preferably on major installation projects. It is essential that you have solid understanding of local OH&S requirements, and possess effective communication skill.
