Our client is a leader in the construction and maintenance of processing plants for the mining industry working across several sites in WA. Due to project demand, they now require a Painter/Blaster to mobilise 28/05/2018.
The role;
Blasting/painting structural and tank refurbishment General house keeping Start 28/05 until approx. November 2018 $36 per hour + $2 site allowance + $2 PIP 84 hours per week
As the successful candidate you will have;
Full understanding of all blasting /painting aspects/ processes and procedures with regards to structural and tank refurbishment. High risk licence - LF, EWP, W@H, Confined space, and a C class drivers licence 100% commitment to safety and adhere company policies always. Also, be a willing team focussed and active member and help were possible in all area of the project. Willing and able to pass a pre-employment medical

The Successful Applicant - In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline.  Minimum of 3 years' design experience on civil structures including bridges, tunnels and retaining walls. Able to liaise with clients and produce technical reports. Outstanding written and verbal communications.

Our Client are a leading Mechanical maintenance contractor with a client base spanning all the major Iron Ore and Gold Miners. We are currently requiring multiple Fixed Plant Fitters, as well as, Boilermakers, Trade Assistants and Riggers for multiple Shutdowns in May, June, July, and onwards
  
There is at least 6 months + of planned shutdowns throughout the year, for those wanting regular shutdown work - we can offer around 3 weeks per month for good reliable workers. 
  
The Role:
You will be working in a large team for routine, preventative maintenance and breakdowns across all fixed plant equipment such as conveyors, crushers, chutes etc... 
Must Haves:
Trade Qualifications or Cert III level Confined Space  Working at Heights Basic Fire Unit of Competency  Drivers Licence  Gas Test Atmosphere Card (Advantage) Able to pass Medical and DAS Major Mine Site inductions (BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG, Roy Hill etc..)
