About the business
Centacare Child Care Services, an agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, is a leading provider of Child Care in southeast Queensland with over 90 Outside School Hours Care services; 10 Long Day Care centres; and 9 Kindergartens. Our services extend north from Brisbane to the Fraser Coast and south to the Gold Coast.
We are seeking to appoint a fulltime Coordinator to lead our Outside School Hours Care service at St William's OSHC Keperra. St William's is a 120 place service providing Before school care, After school care and Vacation Care. This service is an integral part of the school and parish community.  St Williams OSHC is well supported within the local community and attracts large after school care numbers. We are very fortunate to have our own purpose built OSHC building which is divided up into a Junior Room Prep – Grade 2, Senior Room Grade 3 – Grade 6, Kitchen, Dining room and Laundry.  Our program provides children with the opportunity to interact with their friends whilst having agency within the service that guides them.  Children are able to learn social skills, problem solve and try new experiences through play based learning.
The current team has 12 very dedicated staff including a permanent part time Assistant Co-ordinator.
About the role
Hours: 38 Hrs
Remuneration: Level 6.4-6.6 as per the Children's Services Award 2010. $32.15 -$32.83 per hour(depending on qualifications and experience)
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
• Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services
Skills and experience
• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis and Certified Supervisor Certificate
• A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
• Previous experience in child care service management
• Effective computer skills including experience with child care management software (QikKids preferred)
• Proven leadership skills to develop a team of staff

The Indigenous Youth Health Service (IYHS) commenced operations in 1991 as a response to the findings of the Burdekin Report. As an auspice of ATSICHS, its focus was the provision of primary health care for homeless or at risk of being homeless young people aged 12-18 years of age.
Today, the Youth Services Team (formerly IYHS) has expanded the scope of service delivery to include outreach and case management support for the social and wellbeing needs of young people.
The Youth Services Case Manager will be part of a multidisciplinary team that aims to support the assessment, goal planning, coordination and access to four (4) key areas:
Relationships: Connect to positive family support Employment and/or education: Get a job or engage in training or education Health and Wellbeing: Lead a healthy and violence free lifestyle Accommodation: Have a safe, stable place to live. The Case Manager will work directly with young people in achieving outcomes across the four program targets. The role will also work closely with internal and external agencies in providing integrated and holistic care to the young people we support. As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the Youth Services Case Manager is expected to personally contribute to the shaping and achievement of ATSICHS vision and goals. In addition to lovely accom/meals , you will be paid $300 for 40 hours per week. The hours will generally be 2 hours in the mornings and 4-6 hours in the afternoons - with weekends free! Your main role will involve some sole charge/mothers help looking after the boys at appointments that mum needs to attend during the week. Your schedule may change - but only slightly - due to moving house with the family too.

They have local swimming pools close by, as well as the lagoon at Southbank, if you wanted to cool off with a swim. Local parks are also a great place for a picnic blanket under the shade of the fig trees.
The au pair accommodation is a separate downstairs bedroom, with its own bathroom. While you’re always welcome to join in the family activities, we think that you will appreciate a bit of privacy at times! The au pair bedroom is also next to another living room that has a TV and couches. There is good internet connection and great wifi through the house, which means you can stay in contact with home.
In addition to separate/private accommodation and meals you will also have a weekly wage of MIN $250 pw for approx 27 hours work - extra pay for additional babysitting and over school holidays .

The family home is very large on Acerage. For the lucky Au Pair the family offer a private room with ensuite and access to your own living room. The family are often outside enjoying the sunshine, but also take trips to the beach to go boating or to play on their jet ski!

Gumdale is a great location just 20 mins from Brisbane CBD and 15 minutes from the Bay.

Professional single mum looking for help with her 3 great children - a girl aged 5 and 2 boys aged 6 & 7 - all at school.
Hours vary, a couple of hours some mornings , but mostly afternoons and early evenings.
Plus additional babysitting as required.
We are looking for a fun, helpful Au Pair who would like to be a big sister for these 3 lovely children and who is happy to help mum our around the house. Mum is working/studying part time.
The role also includes some cooking, light housework and help with laundry. The children enjoy sports, reading, lego and swimming. This is a young, active family and they are looking forward to their first Au Pair joining their family.
In addition to lovely accommodation and all meals you will receive weekly pocket money of $250 per week for 30 hours. This friendly family are looking forward to welcoming their next Au Pair anytime from now!
Wakerley is a lovely Bayside suburb of Brisbane, just 15k from the city.
Being only 10 minutes from the Manly shore you are near the ocean.
There are cute restaurants and shops at the Gumdale Village and Woolworths is located at the Manly West Shopping Village only 5 minutes away.
Westfield Carindale is 10 minutes down the road and the gateway is 5 minutes away with easy access to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
We are looking for someone to commit for a minimum of 6 months, who has great English and confident driving skills - car is available for some personal use too.
All our families are screened to ensure your safety and we ensure you receive the correct amount of pay and are paid on time. We do not charge Au Pairs for organising Families.
