This position is responsible for coordinating with ElectraNet's Operations, Project Management, Network Service Work Queue Managers and Maintenance Service Provider planning teams.
Additional responsibilities will include:
A high level of coordination with ElectraNet key stakeholders and Maintenance Service Providers to ensure efficient planning of routine and corrective maintenance
Provide advice, presentations and reports to the Maintenance and Refurbishment Delivery Manager
Monitor and report on Routine and Corrective maintenance progress and performance
Proactively plan High Risk Defects with a view to consistently achieving zero overdue tasks measured against Agreed Delivery Dates
Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer to carry out triage and internal assignment of all newly created corrective maintenance notifications
Establish credible and achievable Agreed Delivery Dates for all High Risk Defects via strong collaboration
Prepare presentations and reports to assist ElectraNet Maintenance Work Centres and Maintenance Service Providers to manage completion of High Risk Defects to the Agreed Delivery Date
Provide leadership of ElectraNet Maintenance Work Centre Queue Managers to create a focused and collaborative team
Collaborate with Operations Planners and Project Managers to optimise maintenance planning
Collaborate with and provide advice to Maintenance Service Providers to improve their maintenance planning tools, processes and procedures
Provide leadership to ElectraNet planning resources
Participate in, contribute to and influence the WP10 Maintenance – Stage Capability Strategy to ensure the optimum outcome for ElectraNet
Identify efficiency improvements across all maintenance programs
Participate in the Hazard Review Committee as required.
Their background, skills and qualifications will include:
Demonstrated ability and skills to plan programs of work to agreed quality standards, within budget and schedule constraints preferably in a field related to electricity infrastructure
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of maintenance planning tools
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of planning modules in SAP
Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence key internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar complex environment
