An Australian engineering and manufacturing company needs extra CNC trade qualified people for turning/lathe work and Milling/Machine Centre work.
Based in the Boronia area you will be working along side existing and new high end Engineers and CNC Trades people manufacturing high end products.
This is a great position in a company that will give you the CNC technology and machines to make a real impact.
Your role is to machine high precision components and utilise your knowledge of CNC machines such as Okuma Lathes and Machine Centres. You will machine complex components to a high company standard.
This company is renowned for manufacturing a world class product. You will be operating, setting and programming and will need the following experience:
CNC Okuma MacTurn lathe experience OR CNC Machine Centre skills OR CNC Cylindrical Grinding skills. Must have setting and Programming skills. (tests will apply). Trade qualifications a must. Must have excellent communications skills. Must be able to work perm night shift. Pay rates are generous to start night shift as a perm employee is $49.+per hour plus super.

You will be working within an engineering production environment where you will be manufacturing/fabricating components for various clients and workin g on light and heavy gauge steel mostly mild steel. You will be cutting marking and working from drawings.
You must be able to work/read and follow engineering drawings, and have strong experience in MIG and TIG Welding with neat finishing and a high attention to detail.
You may also get involved in general fitting and other fabrication duties. This is a great position for someone that likes variety in their work.

MIG welding experience TIG welding experience General fabrication and or Fitting experience Experienced in reading technical drawings Ability to work un-supervised Able to start now.
