About your new role:
You’ll be involved in front to end Project management of contaminated land investigations, and this will include:
Proposals, sampling & analysis plans, health & safety plans, interpretation of laboratory analyses and report writing • Supervision of intrusive investigation programs, including drilling, installation of groundwater monitoring wells and sampling of soils, sediments, surface waters and ground waters • Working with civil contractors and ecologists to prepare remediation plans • Supervision and auditing of contractors during earthworks and remediation programs • Mentoring junior staff in field techniques, equipment calibration and reporting • Introduction of innovative technologies for investigation and remediation projects • Continuous development of land contamination and remediation business
About you:
Ideally with 10 + years experience as an environmental engineer or scientist and specialising in contaminated land investigations, you’ll have a degree in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science. In addition we are seeking:
Proposals, sampling & analysis plans, health & safety plans, interpretation of laboratory analyses and report writing • Supervision of intrusive investigation programs, including drilling, installation of groundwater monitoring wells and sampling of soils, sediments, surface waters and ground waters • Working with civil contractors and ecologists to prepare remediation plans • Supervision and auditing of contractors during earthworks and remediation programs • Mentoring junior staff in field techniques, equipment calibration and reporting • Introduction of innovative technologies for investigation and remediation projects • Continuous development of land contamination and remediation business
You’ll need a full current driver’s licence and must be eligible to work in Australia.

As the leading private, not for profit hospital and aged care group in Central Queensland, Mercy Health & Aged Care is seeking to recruit a Hospitality Services Assistant for our facility in Rockhampton. This opportunity is being offered on a casual basis.

The Hospitality Services Assistant will contribute to the delivery of effective cleaning and hygiene services to delegated areas of the Hospital as well as prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals.

This is an opportunity to join our friendly Hospitality team. The role will involve both Housekeeping and Catering duties and work in a variety of areas within the Hospital.

This role is fast paced and physical in nature and will require standing for long periods of time. Candidates must be able to be flexible with work times and be able to work a variety of shifts including; early, late, nights (including overnight), week days, weekends, and public holidays.

We are ideally looking for candidates that have previous experience in a hospital, aged care facility, or hotel cleaning role. Knowledge of current food hygiene principles, practices, and legislation is desirable.

Candidates must have reliable transportation.

The appropriate salary will be dependent on the period of applicable prior experience.
