Mum and dad are both busy professionals with mum running her own company. They need help caring for the kids which includes drop off/ pick up at school and an extra pair of hands around the home. Both parents travel for work and at times they need help in the evenings as well.
The two girls are both hilarious and fun. They are very relaxed kids who love reading, jumping on the trampoline and going to the park. The family likes to hike, snow ski and camp. They also love going to the beach and has we a beach house at Merimbula on the south coast of NSW. Weekends are often spent travelling around the countryside, visiting their family holiday house in Sydney, or friends in Melbourne. But when at home, they do ballet on Saturdays and hang out at the farm.
The girls go to daycare 3 days per week and do ballet on Saturdays. The au pair would have these days off but some help for 1.5-2 hours would be required. The other 2 days, the au pair will have the girls. They eat healthy food and try to plan the weekly meals in advance. Dad does the cooking and they have a cleaner come once a fortnight. They just need help with the daily logistics of the house & helping out around the home.
The family has a large 5 bedroom/2 bathroom home on the top of a hill with fantastic views and a swimming pool. They live on a small beautiful farm, about 25 minutes from the big regional city of Wagga Wagga. They also have pet chickens !
You will have your own living space with a bedroom/lounge room and office/walk in wardrobe. You will share the bathroom with the kids. You have your own TV, couch and living space, a double bed, desk and a car for personal use.
In addition to fabulous accommodation, meals and full board, the family pays generous weekly pocket money for helping out approx 25-30 hours each week with a generous bonus paid at end of 6 months! You will also get to travel in Australia to the beach and mountains !
The Rock is 25 minutes from Wagga Wagga in NSW. There is an airport with daily flights to Sydney and Melbourne. A train station with daily trains to Sydney and Melbourne. There is a cinema, bowling alley, two malls, parks and even a zoo! There are lots of au pairs in the area with an active Facebook page and they socialize a lot. It is a really beautiful part of Australia with farming land surrounding the city. The family is keen for the au pair to become part of the family and be a big sister to the girls. You must be able to drive a manual car. Aside from doing drop off/ pick up at school, Mum will be having a shoulder surgery in August and won’t be able to drive so help getting them around will be great!

My client is a well respected environmental consultancy servicing the Resources sector across Australia and overseas
They have been established for over 30 years and have solid base of repeat clients, gained through a reputation for quality work and low staff turnover.
The Person
They are currently looking for an intermediate Environmental consultant to join their friendly and successful team in Perth.
You will have a background in consulting including experience in EIA / Approvals / Environmental Management for mining projects.
What you need:

A Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science / Engineering or equivalent Around 5 - 7 + years postgraduate experience Experience working on mining projects (ideally in WA) Previous experience working in a consultancy (ideally in WA) Experience in management of environmental projects, environmental impact assessments, approvals, etc Good report writing and communication skills What's in it for you?
