Your new role The role of the Lifeguard(s) is to ensure the highest standard of safety and supervision within the pool environment as well provide friendly and courteous customer service and positively promote the Sports and Swimming Centre at all times. Ensure that water rescues and first aid assistance is provided to patrons and staff when required and to take appropriate action in the event of an emergency or incident which could endanger the wellbeing of a patron.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will be required to hold a Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) or Surf Lifesaving Society South Australia (SLSSA) Bronze Medallion Certificate. Good knowledge or demonstrated experience of pool supervision, water safety, first aid, resuscitation and rescue techniques. Demonstrated ability in providing a high level of customer service to internal and external clients, customers and colleagues, as well as continuous improvement processes in a fast changing environment

The Opportunity
Our client currently has an exceptional opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher, to join their centre in Blaxland, NSW.
This is role is on a 6 month contract commencing from late February. You will be working on a part-time basis on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will also be required to occasionally cover shits.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a high level of care for the children in the centre whilst effectively implementing education programs.
Reporting to the Centre Director, some of your responsibilities include:
Ensuring the development of the children's education. Implementing and creating art and craft ideas to facilitate learning. Carrying out programming, reflections, portfolios and observations. About You
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified ECT. Additionally, you will have a current working with children check, valid first aid certificate and you will also have asthma and anaphylaxis training.
