The Early Intervention Model at the Charles St Clinic (the Clinic)  is based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) because it has the most overwhelming amount of evidence to support its efficacy. The National Standards Project (2015) found behavioural education had by far the most evidence of all proven interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

ABA based programs are implemented at the Clinic through methods such as:

Incidental Teaching;
Natural Environment Teaching (NET);
Pivotal Response Teaching;
Verbal Behavioural Analysis; and
Lovaas influenced Discrete Trial Teaching;
We also offer parent training in the form of NET, which empowers families to take away skills learnt in therapy and apply them in natural settings.

Your role

Your key responsibility is to teach academic and life skills (social, emotional and intellectual) to children with learning difficulties through use of the Clinic’s treatment programs and recognized methods to promote behavioural development. You will represent the clinic within home and education-based settings.

Assessing each child’s individual abilities and identifying any limitations;
Selecting and assessing the appropriateness of goals and strategies being applied for the child; through
Utilising methods such as family centred, curriculum based, normative assessment, theories of development or functional / cusp analysis;
Delivery

Organising and implementing treatment programs such as ABA and Relational Frame Theory (RFT) within a developmental framework and family systems approach;
Using teaching and behavioural analysis techniques (outlined above) to assist children in their learning and development;
Conducting NET with parents to enable families to take away skills learnt in therapy and apply them in natural settings
Data collection

Completing data collection processes such as recording target skill acquisition and targeted behaviour reduction;
Interpret results to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy and guide appropriate goal setting
Intended position outcome

Empower children to become independent learners who can navigate their worlds in a meaningful and secure way.
Qualification and experience requirements

This position requires the minimum of a bachelor’s degree level qualification in Psychology or a related field; and

This is an exciting position where you will Proactively market and sell a range of Bending Machines such as Rod, Tube and Plate bending machines. The machines they sell are considered number one in the industry. The purpose is to maintain current levels of sales and equally important to increase sales to either existing and / or new customers.
It will involve working to planned visits around Melbourne and at time possible interstate trips. You will be doing face to face calls to existing technical clients and new potentials clients advising on product range. You will start with an active client base to account manage and further develop as well as a data base of potential clients. You will be given ongoing support and product training.
This is an ideal role for a sales person with a Fabrication background as you will be selling to this industry.
Your role will involve approximately 80% on road and 20% in office. Gaining growth and market share for the right person shouldn't be difficult with their high quality and diverse machine selection.
The ideal applicant will have the following:

About The Employer: Based at our central Darwin Head Office. Not for profit, this key roles offers a real opportunity to work with Indigenous. This large reputable national employer provides a range of social services, including counselling, AOD, mental health, parenting, youth, family and domestic violence reduction support. Additionally projects and programs, tailored for couples, individuals, families, children and women.
Position Specifics/Program Objective: The Crime Victims Counselling and Support Service works with crime victims to help reduce the ongoing negative impacts of trauma. Tailored to meet the needs of the client, the program provides brief, one-off interventions, through to clinical counselling of up to several sessions. The service tailors interventions to link into expert assistance, for example, victims of domestic violence are linked into specialist domestic violence programs, child victims are linked into children’s counselling programs, and victims who have compensation claims are linked into financial counselling services to help support financial decision making.
The Crime Victims Counselling Coordinator is responsible for providing and coordinating counselling and group work for clients who are crime victims across the Northern Territory. This includes providing face-to-face counselling with clients, telephone and/or Skype counselling, visiting remote locations to see clients, assessing referrals and linking clients in with counsellors who service their region.
