A great opportunity is available to work for our Large Mining Equipment Manufacturer as a Plant Mechanic/HD Fitter within the Project Support Team in Kalgoorlie. 
You will be reporting to the Project Support supervisor working on various CAT Earthmoving Machinery across various sites working a  2/1 roster. There is long term opportunities available. 
JOB DETAILS
• Field service experience would be ideal 
• Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing on a range of Caterpillar Equipment
• Identifying and recommending preventative maintenance on equipment
• Completion of in field diagnosis and repairs
• Completing warranty repair work and reports
• Manage work orders including ordering parts as required
• Carrying out Caterpillar product improvement plans and product support program
TASKS AND DUTIES
- Carry out repairs, inspections, fault finding and troubleshooting on CAT equipment
- Maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience
• C Class driver's licence
• Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
• Police clearance
• Able to work competently unsupervised
• Ability to work in varied environments; autonomously, unsupervised and successfully within a team
• High risk: forklift and working at heights

• Previous CAT dealer Experience
