About the role
Due to exciting company growth we currently have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join our fast paced & outcome focused operations team.
As our Rostering Officer you will provide accurate and timely allocation of support workers to participants with a disability to help them achieve their individual goals.
You will match support workers availability and experience with participant service needs and preferences, make adjustments for absences, change requests or cancellations in a way that minimises impact on the participant.
The successful applicant must be willing to work full time during core business hours (Monday to Friday) and have a positive and flexible attitude towards the role requirements.
Ability to work as part of our Operations team and in time, train / mentor others in Disability Services rostering.
We are looking for a roster officer who can address the following selection criteria:
Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience in call centre, customer services, rostering or a similar role.
Empathy and understanding of people with disabilities and their care requirements
An excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport
An enthusiastic, motivational and a proactive attitude to suit a fast paced environment
A sense of urgency and drive to leave no shift unfilled.
Ability to identify issues, assist in solving them and adapt to changing circumstances with a solution focused attitude
Willingness to work in a busy and challenging environment
Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Computer literacy with PC based applications (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, database)
Knowledge of the Sydney Metro geographical area
Mature outlook and drive to make Zest Care a leading provider of Disability Services
FastTrack experience highly regarded
Practical experience working in the disability sector (Hands on as a Support Worker will be highly regarded)
Knowledge of the NDIS and how it works.
