Areas of focus for the company range from large scale civil works to commercial and multi-residential projects. They also manage projects for sporting precincts, public open space and recreational facilities.This is a hands on role which will also focus on:
  • Project management - forecasting and programming works; budget management and cost control; plans and specifications and working to contract conditions; quality management and rectification of completed works
  • Team and resource management - Managing team performance; rosters; mentoring and training
  • Safety management - Reporting; toolbox talks; site compliance and licence checks; PPE management; risk assessments; incident reporting
  • Administration and reporting - Completion of checklists; site reports; timesheets; signing off Apprentices
  • Client service - Delivering high level client service and offering open communication on works
We are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience within the trade are required
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects similar to those outlined above
  • High level safety focus
  • Strong leadership ability with the skills to direct, train and develop staff
  • Planning, forecasting and budgetary skills
  • Skilled in supplier management and procurement
  • Committed to quality control and continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
  • Good administrative, reporting and IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • A self-motivated approach
