Lovely, professional single mum based in Ascot, Brisbane is looking for a helpful Au Pair who loves working with children and will enjoy being part of this busy family. The family have 2 older girls (13 and 12 yrs) and a younger 6 yr old boy and you will mainly be caring for the 6 yr old boy.
This is an excellent position only 7 kms to the city centre and the family have a beautiful, spacious, air conditioned Queenslander Home with a pool. The Au Pair will have their own extra large private bedroom, bathroom and TV/Entertainment area. Ascot is a fabulous suburb just 7 km North West of Brisbane City Centre. The family home is just a short walk from Train/Buses, Shops, restaurants and bars - so lots of opportunity to make new friends!
In addition to fabulous accom/meals, you will get $250 per week pocket money for 20-25 hours per week. The hours will generally be before and after school care and taking the 6yr old boy to extra activities like swimming lessons and park plays.
The family also have a friendly dog so this would suit an active Au Pair who enjoys kids and animals! The role also includes walking the dog, laundry, and helping out around the home as needed.
Driving won't be necessary as you can walk to school however the family do have an Auto Car which the Au Pair can access for some personal use.
