Position: Olive Plantation Tractor Operator/General Labourer
We are currently seeking an olive grove worker to operate a small tractor during the olive harvest. Other duties will include maintenance of tractors, spraying, slashing, pruning and maintaining irrigation.
Location: Bendigo, Victoria.
To be eligible you must have:
Some tractor operating experience • Ability to work in a team and take instruction • The ability to communicate effectively.
Start Date: Immediate
Duration of work: 2 months or more
Accommodation: On farm accommodation (cottage and dongas with en suite) with kitchen facilities and power provided. You will provide your own meals.
Remuneration: An hourly rate of pay will be offered in line with experience.

Specialised Breeders Australia Pty Ltd is Australia’s leading layer breeder. We require committed individuals to join our Flock Services Crew, responsible for shed clean out, bird transfers and other flock service activities. This is a very hands-on role, largely undertaken outdoors or in sheds. Work shifts are usually across Monday to Friday. There may be some travel required from time to time (paid). The position will commence as a casual position, with full-time offered at the successful conclusion of a probationary period. Usual hours are around 38 per week.
To be considered for one of these roles, you must have:
Pleasant demeanour and a positive attitude! Ability to work in a small team and contribute to the team Physical capability for manual work in a farm environment (includes handling high pressure washers, shed clean-outs and repetitive handling of birds) Willingness and ability to follow directions Willingness to do occasional bird transfers at night
Previous experience in the poultry industry and/or within a flock services crew will be highly regarded, as will a manual driving licence.
