Our client, a busy Hair Salon in Tamworth, NSW, is looking to fill a full time position for creative, experienced and energetic Hairdresser with in-depth experience in colour application, cutting, must be proficient in both women’s and men's cutting, clippering and fading.
The employer is looking for an experienced and motivated person who is qualified as a Hairdresser, and is capable of serving a high volume of customers.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• cut hair using clippers, scissors or razors
• shampoo, condition and rinse hair
• provide services such as colouring, bleaching, applying treatment, permanent waving and straightening
• dry hair and style it using brushes, combs, straightening irons and other equipment
• advise clients on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles
• clean the salon, work areas and equipment
To be successful in this role you must:
• be qualified with relevant qualification and minimum two years of experience
• be capable to meet targets without supervision
• have excellent customer service skills
• understanding of colours and chemical composition
• be self-motivated and creative
• be able to work under pressure

Reporting directly to the Installation Team Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out installation and testing (or pre-commissioning) activities on various components of BMS systems at various client sites.
You must have an NSW Electrical trade license, and a Driver License with clean driving record. You keenness to learn, and high level of adaptability with the use of computer software would be necessary for this role.

  • Safety management - Reporting; toolbox talks; site compliance and licence checks; PPE management; risk assessments; incident reporting
  • Administration and reporting - Completion of checklists; site reports; timesheets; signing off Apprentices
  • Client service - Delivering high level client service and offering open communication on works
