Invictus Games Sydney 2018 is an international adaptive sporting event for wounded, injured and ill former and serving defence personnel. Australian International Military Games (AIMG) is a not-for-profit registered charity responsible for planning and delivering the event. It has an established Board made up of senior representatives of Federal and State Governments and senior functional experts who have experience in complex event delivery.
Reporting to the Games Systems Manager, the Games Systems Coordinator is responsible for deputising for and assisting in the operation and support of the Games Management System (GMS) and on venue Timing Scoring and Results systems (TSR).
The GMS is responsible for the capture and display of Sport Entries, Accreditation, Workforce and Competition Results, of which the results are to be recorded via the on-venue TSR systems by way of time, score, measurement or other metric and transferred to the GMS for display on the IG2018 Website.
The responsibilities of the Games Systems Coordinator will include:
Provide Games systems support services to the Sport team and AIMG Liaise with TSR providers regarding Games time requirements, deployments and operations for on-venue TSR solutions Monitor the quality control of the results input/output The coordination of TSR volunteers as directed
