The Opportunity
Foundation Early Learning are seeking a rare and exceptional Educators. As an Educator you will design, implement and evaluate programs for children that encourage them to explore.

Your experience
You will have a deep understanding of, or a willingness to gain the understanding of Pikler practices and pedagogy in primary caregiving.
 
You will have an approach that allows for purposeful observation of the important development processes of each individual baby and toddler. You won't be someone who rushes, forces or intervenes in their self-paced development. You will have extreme respect of infants and toddlers with undiscovered knowledge and ability.
 
As the first point of contact for parents, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly is essential.
 
Qualifications
Previous experience in an Educator role; Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent; Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate;  Current Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management; National Police Clearance Certificate; Current Working with Children Card; Alcohol and Illegal substance clearance; Good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework.

About the Role
YMCA WA is currently recruiting a permanent part time and casual Outside School Hours Care, (OSHC), Qualified Educator for Kalgoorlie OSHC Service.
Duties
Implement the Centre’s program based upon YMCA’s Approach to Learning and My Time Our Place Assist with the development of programs that are high quality and age appropriate Through effective supervision and engagement provide a fun and safe environment for children Provide a high quality service to children, parents and the local community Work as part of a passionate, motivated team of educators
Skills and Experience
ACECQA approved qualification for the 4 – 12 year age group such as Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care or Diploma in Children’s Services (0-14) Supervisor Approval certificate Experience developing and implementing programs that meets the needs of individual children and reflects children’s interest, development, culture and can support implementation of the YMCA’s Approach to Learning Ability to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children and young people Knowledge of age appropriate recreational activities HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate, Working with Children check and National Police Clearance
