Disability Community Support Worker / Assistants in Nursing (AIN), P/T - CANOELANDS (North of Hornsby), NSW
Looking for experienced and reliable Assistants in Nursing, specialising in disability care, to provide in-home care to a client with spinal cord injury in the Canoelands area North of Berowra/Hawkesbury, NSW.
Provides care for clients 7 days a week.
8 hrs shifts are available presently on a Monday, Friday and Sunday noon to 8pm.
In this role, you may provide a variety of services to our client, including,
Personal care and grooming • Medication prompting • Hoisting/ Manual Handling • Assistance around the home e.g. domestic • Bowel care • Social support and companionship • Close monitoring of client’s condition
The successful applicant/s will have

Disability Support Workers, Casual - ANNANGROVE (Hills District), NSW
Seeking very experienced Disability Support Workers for shifts with an adult client with Quadriplegia in Annangrove.
Shifts Include:
Mornings (Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun) approx 6am to 9am (or 10am)
Evenings (Mon and Sat) 7pm to 9pm (or 10pm)
The following attributes are very important:
energetic and competant, punctual, reliable and professional • very good command of English • experience with complex bowel care/toileting and showering • experience with manual handling • physically able to support some strengthening exercises • prepared to do some housework (e.g. washing, cleaning and ironing) • able to prepare basic home cooked meals • welcoming of pets (cat/dog) • Ideally you should have a drivers license and be prepared to drive wheelchair equipped vehicle/s • You should have some flexibility in case shifts last longer than anticipate
