About the Opportunity
Child Australia have an exciting new opportunity for 1 full time and 1 part time Professional Learning Consultant to join our team in Perth (head office located in Belmont). 
You will work with clients in a variety of early to middle-childhood education settings to identify and address areas for improvement, including staff training and development, programming, service provision,leadership/management and more.
You will be accomplished as an Early Childhood Educator & have a Certificate IV TAE with extensive experience in professional practice, training/lecturing, management and leadership in education and care services.
You’ll have a deep understanding of emerging trends of Pedagogical Practice, the National Quality Framework, the National Quality Standards and the Learning Frameworks with the desire and ability to constantly build and maintain this knowledge and to effectively communicate what you know.
You will take a collaborative approach to your work as you liaise with a range of professionals - Centre Directors, Educational Leaders, Family Day Care Coordinators, Outside School Hours Care managers, Area Managers and School leadership teams to provide support and guidance as they work to improve and grow.
You’ll be experienced in project work with well-developed time management and organisational skills. You will be enthusiastic and energetic, with a driven and determined approach to your work.  Above all, you will be dedicated to improving the services provided to children through your knowledge, support and guidance.

The Early Years Learning and Care Team supports Catholic Schools to build the capacity of early childhood leaders and educators. The Role
Key responsibilities for this role include:  
Support the Early Years Learning and Care Team Leader with the running of the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) and Long Day Care (LDC) services within CEWA. Support the Early Years Learning and Care Team to identify and expand school based care services Develop a highly skilled team who will support schools with regulatory and licensing aspects of the service. Duties & Responsibilities
Below is a brief outline of some of the duties and responsibilities of the role:
Provides intake and assessment, counselling and referral for children and adolescent Provides intake and feedback to parents Maintain the child’s focus in all aspects of service delivery Maintains and manages a case load in line with program target Delivers a service as part of a multi- disciplinary team including staff of the Mums and Dads Forever team, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners and Children’s Contact Workers Delivers psycho- educational and therapeutic groups for children Delivers psycho-educational groups for adults as directed by the Manager Delivers school holiday group program
 
Selection Criteria
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
Tertiary Qualification 4 year Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related field Eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional association A current WA Working with Children Check Demonstrated knowledge of child counselling and group work models and their application  Demonstrated knowledge and application of Family Systems theory Knowledge of the impact of parental separation on children including an understanding of how conflict affects children Experience in advocating and promoting for and behalf of children, young people and their family Demonstrated skills in participating and contributing to teams Strong  written, oral and interpersonal communication and basic computer skills (e.g. email, word, excel) Ability to be adaptable and work in an ever changing environment
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check, and a WA Drivers Licence.
 
Remuneration
$35.72 per hour + 9.5% superannuation In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount

Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Commencing Term 2 2018
(Fixed Term in 2018, with the possibility of a part-time, ongoing position in 2019)
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher of Inclusive Learning for a full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed term position commencing in Term 2 2018 (start date negotiable). You will work within the Inclusive Learning Department to collaboratively plan and write student plans with teachers and support students in core areas across Years 8-12, with a particular focus on English. You will also teach a Year 10 English class.
Inclusive Learning at MLC encompasses learning support, enrichment and extension. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience working with students with diverse learning needs, and in supporting learners to be successful.
