This is a new division my client is looking to open up due to a big account which has just landed them a massive opportunity to hire a Chinese Speaking Travel Consultant to look after the leisure and business travellers to Asia, Europe, US or domestic. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Travel Operations Manager, your job will include but not limited to: ** Booking and quoting itineraries including exclusive and specialty tours overseas ** Using a GDS system to book flights internationally
** Working with Australian travellers from Australia and expats travelling domestically within other areas of the world
** Administration & general invoicing
** Assisting in building the travel department
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
** Experience with booking travel in the travel industry as a consultant
** GDS proficent (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus or an overlay of some sort ie TUD)
** Good general knowledge and geographic knowledge of the world
** Can speak and understand Chinese fluently
** Positive, enthusiastic personality
** have worked towards, or have a good understanding of sales targets.
