Gowrie NSW Clemton Park Early Education & Care was recently awarded an EXCEEDING rating at A&R, and we are now looking for a strong Centre Manager / Lead Teacher to continue the team on its journey. The centre operates for up to 30 children aged 3 to 5 years with a strong emphasis on supporting children in the year before school.

The Role
We are looking to appoint a Centre Manager who will oversee the operation of an early childhood centre as Nominated Supervisor and as teaching Director. The key requirements of the role are as follows:
Lead a small team of experienced Educators to provide high quality care to children; Understand and be responsible for the performance of the centre, including but not limited to the following: monitoring centre KPIs such as ratios and budget, reviewing P&L statements, identifying potential business opportunities within the area and formulate effective plans to increase market share, identify potential risks to the centre regarding demographic changes and competitors; Maintain contact with your manager on all matters pertaining to the operational performance of the centre; Establish and maintain relationships with families, communities, and local school; Ensure regulatory compliance with all standards and framework

Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education Teacher registration in NSW New Working with Children Check Completion of Child Protection course Current approved first aid certificate and CPR Current approved anaphylaxis and asthma management certificates Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience building and managing a team Understanding of legislation and National Quality Standard requirements Strong understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current pedagogy that influences practice Open to learning, clear communicator and well organised

The Centre

A boutique 70 place family owned centre which caters for children from 0-5 years.

 The centre strives to create a warm, safe and caring environment where the values of diversity and a sense of community is recognised.

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Director who is Degree trained to lead a team of 11 staff.

The role will be off the floor and duties will include mentoring, training and recruiting staff, updating policies and procedures, QIP, administration, fees and rosters, marketing and branding for the centre and liaising with the families.

The role will be full-time working set shifts of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Roles
