About your New Role

Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability. • Identify and evaluate solution alternatives and communicate and agree alternatives and evaluation criteria to relevant business and ICT stakeholders. • Oversee the solution design and implementation including to operational handover. • Lead all the technology aspects of the project, ensuring all customer requirements are met. • Review detailed designs, development and implementation activities and post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions are built as designed, and that design trade-offs are made in alignment with the Departments standards and are communicated to relevant stakeholders. • Provide expert advice to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investment. • Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives. • Assist and contribute to the development of Technology Domain Architectures in order to develop enterprise architect standards. • Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes. • Place the customer at the centre of all decision making. • Work with the Line Manager to develop and review meaningful performance management and development plans.
