About the Position
City Maintenance Branch comprises of approximately 600 permanent staff and numerous contractors dedicated to delivering maintenance and cleaning services for the city’s infrastructure assets, which include buildings, bridges, parks, landscape, trees, roads, footpaths, beaches, canals, stormwater drainage and lakes.
These services are delivered in partnership with the respective Asset Custodians through service level or Partnering Agreements that outline the various roles, responsibilities and service levels between the parties.
Based at a Council Depot, the incumbent will be responsible for leading a team undertaking maintenance and improvements of regenerated and constructed natural areas, dune areas and other vegetation maintenance within the City's open space program.  
The position’s requirements are outlined within the Job Success Profile (JSP) however please note that the successful applicant will be appointed at the appropriate level based on  Qualifications, Skills & Experience between State Level 5 and State Level 7.

The Curator (Track, Grounds & Maintenance) is responsible for the presentation, maintenance and continual improvement of the training surfaces, facilities and grounds at Kildalton Park, in order to provide a safe, attractive environment for stakeholders, staff, horses and visitors.

•    Knowledge of turf maintenance requirements.
