Reporting to the National Sales Manager, and working in this newly created role, you will be responsible for generating sales in the form of building automation system sales (new or retrofit), or any energy efficiency solution sales through new clients or open tenders. You will need to put together system solutions, provide estimates and quotes, and present proposals to clients.
To support you with this role, there will be in-house estimators and a project engineering team.
You should have a solid track record of success in business development, ideally within the automation and controls industry. This company specialises in the supply and install of Capital Equipment / Bending Machines used in the Fabrication industry. Due to expansion they need Technical Sales Representative to join their team. They need a person to Account Manage and Business Develop.

This is an exciting position where you will Proactively market and sell a range of Bending Machines such as Rod, Tube and Plate bending machines. The machines they sell are considered number one in the industry. The purpose is to maintain current levels of sales and equally important to increase sales to either existing and / or new customers.

It will involve working to planned visits around Melbourne and at time possible interstate trips. You will be doing face to face calls to existing technical clients and new potentials clients advising on product range. You will start with an active client base to account manage and further develop as well as a data base of potential clients. You will be given ongoing support and product training.

This is an ideal role for a sales person with a Fabrication background as you will be selling to this industry.

Your role will involve approximately 80% on road and 20% in office. Gaining growth and market share for the right person shouldn't be difficult with their high quality and diverse machine selection.

The ideal applicant will have the following:
Fabrication industry background ideal
Technical sales experience
Account management and business development skills
High attention to detail
Must have excellent communication skills.

They are offering an excellent base salary + Super, achievable commissions, car allowance, phone, laptop, etc.
