Norths Leagues & Services Club (Norths), situated on the North Side of Brisbane, forms a significant part of the Moreton Bay Region. At Norths, we pride ourselves on being a community based Club with a strong involvement and support of various charity organisations. Norths have recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation, and our brand new facilities and offerings make Norths the choice of venue on the northside of Brisbane. These facilities include 278 Gaming Machines, a luxurious sports bar, an amazing 180 seat a la carte restaurant,  110 seat café, casual outdoor dining facility and large function facilities. We also currently boast over 37,000 members and over 120 staff members.
We are looking for applicants who are market leading, dedicated to the business and their role and extremely motivated, to join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Chef. You must be able to handle a high pressure environment, as we are an extremely busy and fast paced business.
The successful applicant MUST have the following:
Be passionate about food and will deliver outstanding dishes Be driven and show initiative Have excellent time management and organisational skills Be familiar with and comply with food safety regulations and requirements Be able to work autonomously, as well as within a team Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Have excellent communication with peers, managers and patrons Be driven and show initiative in all aspects of the job Cope with the high volume of work associated with multiple catering outlets The successful applicant/s will have a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and the hours associated with it; which will include split shifts, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Reporting to a driven and supportive General Manager, your role will include (but not be limited to):
Work with the product and marketing teams to develop effective product plans that drive sales Provide support to the marketing team to deliver product propositions that win new affiliates and advisers to the brand Develop and nurture supplier relationships Oversee and analyse business performance to assist in decision making and continuous improvement.

You will be considered for this opportunity if you have:
A minimum 3 years’ experience in travel product management An in-depth knowledge in air and the passion to solve complex problems and highlight opportunities in the air space Exceptional commercial and negotiation skills Excellent time management Exceptional interpersonal skills
