Your key accountabilities will include:
Working from major shut scope to plan source and direct plant and equipment Generate work packs to be used by execution teams for all shutdown tasks Acting as a focal point for the interaction of contractors and stake holders  – scheduling, scaffolding, logistics, cost control and supply Support Master Scheduler in activities to generate and optimise Shutdown Schedule Assist in the development of Shutdown cost and duration estimates Develop systems and processes to: Document job steps, resource requirements and durations Document and order materials required Document tooling and equipment requirements Ensure all materials and equipment are ordered with lead time durations
To be successful in this role you will have;

Positions available in the Bowen Basin Coal Mine Industry working a 7 on, 7 off roster.   Duties include primarily installing Gas Extraction Pipelines, Surface Infrastructure, Operation of various machinery, General Labouring and Trade Assisting. Camp Accommodation and meals provided Casual work is available until the end of December, with potential for ongoing work. Successful applicants will be required to provide their own transport, as flights or fuel allowance is not supplied by the company. These positions are an immediate start after completion of site inductions. Pay rate to be discussed at Interview The successful candidates must hold the following Tickets/licences, Competencies, Skills and Attributes; 

Standard 11 Coal Board Medical Drivers Licence White Card Relevant RII Machine Operating Tickets, including but not limited to Excavator, Loader, Bobcat, Grader, Skid Steer Backhoe and Dozer. Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience on a Coal Mine. Poly Welders are required to hold current Electrofusion and Butt Welding Tickets. The Company
Our client is an award-winning Engineering Civil & Construction contractor. This includes specialising in Building, Design & Project Management. They are now on the shortlist for major sections of the light rail project in ACT. This is a $700M project delivering construction and upgrades to major sections of the trackwork.
The Role
Working in ACT you will be working as Project Engineer on pre-dominantly on construction and upgrades to the track. This extensive project requires a Project Engineer who has previous experience with track reconstruction, re-surfacing and re-opening. This will initially be working onto stage two of the project which aims to improve efficiency for the network as a whole as well as ensuring safety remains at the highest standard possible.
This is a permanent position within a business that operate over the whole of Australia. Initially you will be working on a ACT based project but there will be opportunities for Engineers to move nationally within the business. The company regularly operate on large projects and specialise very heavily on rail projects.
Reporting to the Senior Project Staff your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Have an understanding of the implementation of quality assurance procedures, manuals and checklists
Assist in preparation and review of work method statements
Preparation of budgets and quotes and monitoring of expenses
Identify and advise on all contractual and commercial claims related to work
Oversee quality assurance and safety on site.
Requirements for the Position:
Will be a Degree qualified
Prior experience across rail infrastructure
Ideally you will have 1-3 years' experience as a Project Engineer working on Rail Infrastructure projects
Experience in the Australian Market (1 year minimum is a must)
RISI Ticket (desirable)
