Our client is a grain producer with large scale cropping properties in the northern and southern wheat belts of WA. They require a 2IC to assist the farm manager with all operations on their farm to the north of Perth, WA.

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the 2IC will require:
3+ years of practical experience in broad acre cropping • A high attention to detail in all aspects of farming operations • Experience in operating and maintaining a range of modern farming machinery including John Deere SP boom sprays, JD harvesters, RTK GPS • Chemical accreditation and application experience • Accurate record keeping • Maintain a professional image • Drivers & Heavy Vehicle licence (desirable) • Adherence to OH&S regulations • Formal qualifications in agriculture or a trade is desirable but not essential.

Duties
Reporting to the Senior Management team the role of Farm Manager will be responsible for the management and improvement of the farm. You will manage to ensure maximum yields and quality is met.
